Accessibility.

US Home Motor Journal aims to make its reporting and practical guidance perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for a broad range of readers.

1. Our commitment

Accessibility is part of the editorial experience, not a separate mode. We design for keyboard use, clear reading order, adaptable layouts, and sufficient contrast from the beginning.

Our reference goal is the relevant Level AA guidance in WCAG 2.1. This statement describes an ongoing practice rather than a guarantee that every device combination is free of defects.

2. Design and content practices

Pages use semantic landmarks, a single primary heading, ordered heading levels, descriptive link text, alternative text for meaningful images, and a skip link. Focus indicators remain visible for keyboard users.

The layout adapts from narrow phones to large screens without requiring horizontal scrolling. Touch targets are sized for comfortable use, and content does not depend on color alone.

3. Compatibility

The site uses standard HTML, CSS, and a small progressive-enhancement script. Core content and navigation remain available when JavaScript is disabled.

We aim to support current versions of major browsers, screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom, and text reflow. Reduced-motion preferences disable nonessential smooth behavior.

4. Known limitations

Third-party documents or sites reached through external links may not meet the same standard. Their design and accessibility are outside our direct control.

Automotive terminology can be technical even when explained in plain language. If a passage, image description, or linked resource creates a barrier, tell us where it occurs and what format would help.

5. Requesting assistance

If you cannot access an article, guide, contact detail, or advisory description, email contact@ushome.site or call +1 (904) 395-7274.

Please identify the page, the barrier, the browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the alternative format or outcome you need. We will use that information to pursue a practical response.

6. Feedback and review

Accessibility feedback is reviewed alongside editorial and technical maintenance. Confirmed issues are prioritized according to their effect on access to core information and contact routes.

We revisit this statement as the site changes. Postal feedback may also be sent to US Home Motor Journal, 1532 S Lincoln Ave, Springfield, IL 62704.
